1. MESENSEI

Mesensei Oy is a private company, which provides IT- services and consultancy.Mesensei collects, stores, and processes personally identifiably data in accordance to European General Data Protection Regulation to conduct marketing, sales and customer service operations and to fulfil its legal obligations.

2. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

Data protection is important for Mesensei. We use both organisational and technical measures to protect your data when collecting, storing and processing it. We are also dedicated to fair use data according to the principles described in this data protection notice. To understand these principles and your rights, please read carefully this notice before providing us with your personal data, or otherwise conducting business with us.

If you do not wish to do business with us, or if you object to these principles, please do not provide us with your personal data and do not use our products.

Mesensei collects personal data from publicly available sources, such as websites, brochures, directories, etc. to support our direct marketing campaigns and customer service operations.

3.3. COOKIES AND TECHNICAL DATA

Our websites use our own cookies and cookies by 3rd parties. The cookies are used to collect t data about our site visitors. In addition, we collect transactional and other technical data from our servers, e.g IP addresses, device operating system and browsers version numbers, time stamps, etc.

3.4. DATA NEEDED IN SALES AND ACCOUNTING

If you buy services or products from us, we will need to process the highly sensitive personal data to verify credit and legal capacities in order to process financial transactions. Any data regarding financial transactions is stored in accordance to the obligations set in applicable laws for bookkeeping and accountancy.

4. DATA PROCESSING

Mesensei processes the personal data described in section 3. to sustain and develop its business. Personal data can be used to display personalised content on our own and on our partners website. We may also send out targeted email direct sales campaigns and newsletters.

At times we might contact our customers directly by telephone to make a personalised sales offer, or to carry customer support request. We may combine the data we have collected from the different sources and we can use them for example making statistical analysis to improve or products and services. We also monitor customer satisfaction and may carry out customer satisfaction surveys.

Personal data may also be processed to fulfil accounting and bookkeeping obligations, credit management, and to carry out requests by law enforcement agencies in accordance to due legal process.

5. DATA COMBINATIONS AND TRANSFERS TO THIRD PARTIES

Mesensei works in close collaboration with multiple partners, clients, and service providers. As a part of the collaboration Mesensei might transfer and receive personal data related to customers, new business opportunities, and carrying out customer support requests.

We may combine personal data and use it for customer relationship management and communication by ourselves and in collaboration with our partners. We may also use the personal data to display personalised content or sent out targeted offers and notifications regarding our products and services. We may also contact you directly for making personalised offers. The purpose of processing personal data is to improve our products and services and make the more personalised and relevant for our customers.

Mesensei carries out credit management and enforcement in partnership with specialised service providers and reserves the right to transfer personal data to them when necessary, e.g. when pursuing debt collection. If Mesensei suspects a fraud, or other crime, we reserve the right to investigate and provide the data needed by legal representatives and law enforcement agencies to take legal action. Mesensei is also legally obliged to comply with requests made by law enforcement agencies when they are investigating a specific case, or carry out mandatory inspections.

6. DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE OF EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Some of the electronic system which we use in marketing, sales, and customer service transfer data outside of European Economic Area to servers located in countries which might have different standards for data protection and processing of personal data, for example the United States of America.

In such cases we use measures to provide adequate protection for your personal data as required by applicable law, for example, by using standard agreements approved by relevant authorities (e.g. the European Commission) and by requiring the use of appropriate technical and organisational information security measures.

Our data subjects have the right to access their data, request to correct any inaccurate data, and prohibit the use of their personal data in accordance to European Union General Data Protection Regulation. Mesensei has the responsibility to protect confidentiality of personal data. Data subjects seeking to have have access to their personal data, must be prepared to prove their identity to prevent fraud and identity theft.
