XES Helsinki is the student run entrepreneurship society of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science. It’s mission is to inspire entrepreneurship and support its members to start their own business.
In 2020, the association was growing quickly and needed to organise it’s membership registry professionally and compliance with GDPR. At the same time the association wanted to make the network visible to its members and provide a platform for matchmaking and networking.
Mesensei co-created together with the XES the key features of the platform and trained the key staff of the association on how to run the association and the digital services in compliance with GDPR.
The platform has helped the association to digitalise its services, which has been essential during the covid. It is used for mentoring and connecting members looking for networking opportunities and showcasing XES to new potential members, sponsors and other stakeholders.
“Having our own app is a way for us to connect with our members. It makes it easy for new members to join and accept the association rules. For the society, our own platform is our own digital club house for confidential networking and mentorship. It is also a valuable data asset for data driven incubation and impact reporting".
